Worth a read. It would be nice if these conversations were being had in broader society to influence regulation & policy. Without controlled cool season burns in national parks the system was “destroying what it is supposed to be protecting” beefcentral.com/news/it-was-go…

My grandfather helped form out local brigade, my father served for over 65 years, including 30 as captain and at group level. I resigned due to Covid measures and will now never go back. What a sad end to a great legacy and a once great organisation. RIP CFA

Absolutely gut-wrenching. Loosing a years worth of work in one night. Not only dealing with drought this just adds another dimension to the horrid year. Lots of people are hurting, if you need a chat to someone don't feel guilty about seeking help we're all in this together.

Might as well be out there, we at Winnindo CFA had enough. With the bulk of our members being primary producers we will be feeling it in years to come thanks to Vic Labor Government. We at Winnindoo will lose members because of the new levies just out of principle #scrapthetax
