Last week I had a brilliant time on the Natural Environment Research Council 3D and 4D imaging (XCT) course in Manchester lead by Kate Dobson. Certainly has some fascinating potential applications to my current PhD work!

Thoroughly enjoyed my first conference presenting my PhD topic- to Sea Level and Coastal Change QRA working group this afternoon. Thank you for making me feel welcome and I'm looking forward to hopefully bringing my first data next year in person!

Crikey, where has the autumn gone!? Two months late to post, it was fantastic to present my preliminary research from #EPStromNet Western Australia at the QRA PG Symposium at Durham University. Thanks to all who made it happen. Geography and Environmental Sciences QRA

Rather late, but, had a fascinating time at the NHM Botany Taxonomic Principles and Tools in Botanical Research course, specialising in Bryophytes, last month Natural History Museum. A fantastic insight behind the scenes with a sunny field trip to Thursley Common, what's not to enjoy?

Had a great day at the IQUA Spring meeting and AGM on Saturday hosted at Geography and Environmental Sciences. Some great Quaternary themed presentations and discussion- it was a pleasure to present at, and highly appreciative to have won the Best Postgraduate Presentation Award.
