Our experience has taught us that the money is made on the anxiety side of the equation. If you can figure out what’s holding people back, you can shortcut the sales process and really increase profits. We’ve seen it time and time again.

Michael Porter talks about "causal ambiguity". He's got it wrong. It's most not ambiguity about what the cause is. It's non-causal! There *isn't* a root cause to be ambiguous about! (I've been reviewing notes from a chat with JP Castlin)

You can’t jump from data to action. Instead use abduction (the logic of hunches) then probe, sense, respond. “To generate a strategy, one must put aside the comfort and security of pure deduction and launch into the murkier waters of induction, analogy, judgment, and insight”
