Superintendent Dr. Marvin Connelly, Jr. will retire July 1, leaving behind his legacy of excellence on Cumberland County Schools. Dr. Connelly received TIP's Pinnacle Award last year, and was also the NC State Superintendent of the Year.

In partnership with NCCU, TIP has provided scholarships to cover masters degrees for 16 teachers who aspired to be principals. Districts also receive funds to cover their salary during their principal internship. Learn more tipnc.org/what-we-do/

With support from Accelerate, we are studying how high-dosage tutoring can accelerate learning and working with districts to embed high-impact tutoring into customized learning plans for students.
