Onvermeld blijft dat NL 31%(!) makreelquotum moet inleveren; kwart (1700 ton!) obv achterhaalde afspraak van 50 jaar terug om Ierland te spekken. Bizarre omissie, juist ook gezien stevige en gewaardeerde weerstand van Nederland. #Makreel toch een van waardevolste visbestanden.

Vandaag een indrukwekkende rondleiding gehad op hektrawler SCH-123 in Scheveningen. Daarna heb ik gesproken met mensen uit de #pelagische sector en met lokale bestuurder die werken aan het Visserij Ontwikkel Plan, over de #toekomst van de visserijsector in Nederland. 🌊🐟
