This is our mastery morning session at #activelearncon where teachers are learning at their own pace about a range of different online teaching tools. It is supported by a series of video tutorials and a progress tracker with badges that allows them to visualise their learning.

What does it mean to say you have ‘taught’ something and how do you know if students have learnt it? What is the role of a teacher and is ‘teacher’ the best title? Just a couple of fascinating questions that are being discussed in the Socratic Seminars today at #activelearncon

Sound bite from an #activelearncon Socratic Seminar. Instead of asking your students ‘does that make sense?’ or ‘do you understand that?’, perhaps we could take the pressure off them and ask ‘did I explain that well?’. That way they will be more honest in their response. Love it!
