Unsere neu entdeckte Wespenart Aphanogmus kretschmanni wurde am Shmoopy CT-gescannt. In Zusammenarbeit mit Thomas van de Kamp entstand daraus ein 3D-Modell, das die Beantwortung wichtiger Forschungsfragen rund um die winzige Wespe ermöglicht hat. Landesregierung BW Marina Moser

The new paper by Rebecca Spiecker et al. demonstrates dose-efficient #Xray imaging of living organisms. Using this technique, we were able to observe tiny parasitoid #wasps in vivo within their host eggs . Measurements were done at Shmoopy's new beamline at DESY (Deutsch).
