“No pressure, no diamonds.” The only way to achieve greatness is to put yourself in pressure situations. Once you start embracing big games and big moments, you’ll perform better!

Six of the biggest regrets athletes have later in life: 1. Not giving their best effort. 2. Not taking enough risks. 3. Not putting their team first. 4. Not enjoying the moment. 5. Not prioritizing their physical and mental health. 6. Not spending enough time with family.

3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility, value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. Philippians 2: 3-4 A verse I try to live by.

As an athlete, you can’t be too nice while competing in games. You have to play to win and not worry about hurting your opponent’s feelings. Don’t take winning and losing too personal. Know that you can still be friends with your opponent after the game, whether you win or lose.
