MMC rivalry! Snapped in Brighton yesterday were a pair of very will presented Alexander Dennis E400MMCs. Stagecoach South's 10945 SN18KNJ was seen arriving on a 700 wearing its special Queen's Platinum Jubilee livery, while Brighton & Hove Buses's 329 YX69NWS was seen working a 5 to Patcham.

Seen heading along Eastbourne Seafront on Route 99 in some morning sunshine yesterday was Stagecoach South East's Silverhill based 15337 YN67YLK, an ADL E400MMC bodied Scania N250UD.

A pleasure to take part in the Seven Sisters Bus & Coach Ukraine Fundraiser Running Day on Sunday. It’s been a few years since a Stagecoach Trident visited Lewes Bus Station. Also got to meet Twitter colleagues from Stagecoach South Stuart Chau and @TransGirlEm on the Jubilee bus.

A fine spot in a shop window in Bexhill yesterday was this 1/76 handbuilt model of a Hastings & District Leyland Tiger/Plaxton Paramount. Naturally I had to go and buy it! My next thought was to snap it in the old coach park, where the real coach might have sat some 30 years ago!

Yesterday I ventured over to Canterbury (from Hastings, by bus) to catch Stagecoach South East's brand new Alexander Dennis E200MMC's acquired for the Canterbury Park & Ride. The 3 branded buses, 26354 YX22OHL, 26355 YX22OHN and 26356 YX22OHO were snapped around the city centre.

A lot in Ashford has changed since 7801 would have visited in the early 90's. The international station for instance, where 7801 is pictured today on the 10 service!

With the new MMC's having arrived for the Canterbury Park & Ride, Stagecoach South East are in the process of transferring the older ADL E300's to Eastbourne Depot. 27891 SN63KFL, 27920 SN63VTP and 27924 SN63VTW were snapped at Langney Shops and on Seaside Road over the past few weeks.

Time to head home after a few hours in Worcester.

A few snaps from a very enjoyable day out onboard Hastings Diesels Ltd Class 201 'Thumper' 1001 on their Worcester Sauce DEMU Railtour operating from Hastings to Worcester Shrub Hill via Oxford and the Cotswold Line last Saturday.

Seen on its first day out after being completed, Stagecoach South East Alexander Dennis E400MMC bodied Scania N250UD 15286 YN16WWC was caught in Collington, and in Hastings this afternoon on routes 99 and 73 wearing a speciel purple and silver livery to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
