Unlike last month I've been playing a lot of good story based RPGs, its been such a treat. I've even got some controversial opinions! haha

Been seeing so many weird pile-on tweets about JRPGs it's no surprise that some people want nothing to do with the genre. Really sad to see. It's much more productive to celebrate great games & offer interesting commentary than to rag on people so you feel superior or whatever 🫠

I just posted my controversial post on Persona 5 and it's going as well as I thought it would 😅 gosh... I even tried to explain my own biases as well. You can't please everyone I guess. People will hate just to hate 🫤

Learning lessons as a new content creator... know your value. With my controversial post I wasn't looking forward to the comments section when I woke up. I check on it today and see that my comments that got down voted are back to positive... 😇 I have supporters, I'm so happy!

Learning lessons, the positivity is there with the negativity as well. Often the negative voices are louder and at the front, but there is just as likely to be a silent majority that likes what you do. I've got to always steer towards the good, no matter where I am 🙂

I think have a milestone as a creator... I'm pretty sure I have regular haters? I said a game wasn't for me in an earlier post and now I have regular hate and thumbs down. It was pretty bad too, but now at least they're at least neutral so I have support! I should be proud! haha

Alright... I just have to say it now at 1am. The story of a really obscure JRPG, Dyztopia: Post-Human RPG, is really really good.

I'm still not quite sure what I make of people saying "turnbased games are antiquated/outdated." I mean that'd simply erase an entire category of games, and then... they'd all be action? Every single game? For every series and by every publisher????

So for my gaming time today instead of progressing through the story of Dyztopia I spent my time getting lost in a desert dungeon for hours and playing in-game gotcha for skills. 👌🏽
