Day 57💃 Cybersecurity Risk Analyst for DATACOM on Forage. Let's start with the fact that I knew nothing about risk assessment & I forgot all about Excel Spreadsheets but 3hrs became 4hrs cause I had to study a little. The OSINT was the easiest part tbh. #100DaysOfCyberSecurity

Day 58💃 Three BTLO labs today: A D3FEND Framework Lab, A phishing email analysis lab using Sublime and Thunderbird as well as a Capture The Flag lab also involving email analysis using Sublime, Thunderbird and CyberChef. Was it a good day? YES! #100DaysOfCyberSecurity

Day 59💃 Been a while😭 Nonetheless, I did a memory forensics lab with Volatility3 and CyberChef(not sure why this was so difficult, it wasn't even a hard lab😂). Also did some free classes in the security engineering path on Cybrary. Too early for Splunk? #100DaysOfCyberSecurity

Day 60💃 Another day with me and my Fortigate firewall. Tbh, not sure what to do atp. The WAN-LAN policy still isn't working. Went over my notes again, watched videos and nothing points to what I might've done wrong because the LAN - WAN works🥲 L day fr. #100DaysOfCyberSecurity

Day 61💃 I got into working on the security profiles for my firewall, hopefully I completely figure it out soon. I also continued my security engineering path on Cybrary only to find out a lot of the classes are paid😭 Today was better than yesterday🙃 #100DaysOfCyberSecurity

Day 62 & 63(bc I forgot yesterday) 😭😭 Too much to put into pictures so I worked on my SIWES report and finally finished it the whole of yesterday. Did a network forensics lab, troubleshooting firewall issues + VPN & SD-WAN, I also got my CompTIA S+ iLAB. #100DaysOfCyberSecurity

Day 64💃 Another day to embark on one of those missions that nobody sent me. Reconciled with my shayla (packet tracer) today for a mini project for TechCity. Time consuming but I have just RIPv2 left but I might flip it and do OSPF instead, thoughts?? #100DaysOfCyberSecurity

Day 65💃 Another lab, another good day! I did a Chromebook forensic analysis using DB Browser, CyberChef & Notepad++, focusing on user artifacts, browser data, downloads, & Google Takeout for digital investigations. Also explored my CompTIA iLab a little. #100DaysOfCyberSecurity

Day 66💃 Yes yes yes I know, I did threat intelligence labs that I said I would avoid today (they're too fun)😭 Tbh, I didn't know what to do today so I did two threat intelligence labs using VirusTotal and Red Canary. Day 66 & running out of ideas, HELP😭 #100DaysOfCyberSecurity

Day 67💃 This love hate relationship between me and my fortigate firewall ehn, problem every day. Somehow the firewall console was working perfectly but the web mgmt interface stopped opening. It took a few hours but at least I figured it out (I think😭). #100DaysOfCyberSecurity

Day 68💃 Got started with my Fortinet Endpoint Management Server. Also analyzed network traffic & memory dumps using Wireshark, Zui, & Volatility to investigate a targeted attack, identify Zeus malware & reconstruct attacker actions (was too long abegg😭) #100DaysOfCyberSecurity

Day 69💃 Today should've for job simulation but it required Splunk & I know nothing at all about it (I need to start asap) 😭😭 So, I did two BTLO labs today on browser forensics (FTK Imager & Browser History Viewer) and memory forensics (Volatility). #100DaysOfCyberSecurity

Day 70💃 I wanted to do something a little less technical today so I focused on mapping out my Splunk roadmap. I explored learning resources, materials etc looking for the ones that match the way I assimilate. I’m very open to suggestions please helppp!! #100DaysOfCyberSecurity

Day 71💃 Posting was the least of my worries yesterday😭 I did a vulnerability mgmt course and my day was going well till I tried a CTF lab (& I still haven't figured it out). CTF humbles me normally, but this is a lot. My head aches but I'm trying again. #100DaysOfCyberSecurity

Day 72💃 I was advised to try HackTheBox so I opened an account today & did two sherlock labs. Threat Intel(Research on Salt Typhoon, focusing on their tactics, techniques & procedures) & DFIR(brute-force analysis with Unix logs). Pleasantly surprised tbh! #100DaysOfCyberSecurity
