Writing guidelines on how to write a good SEO site description. #1 It needs to make sense #2 it needs to make sense out of context. What's your fave advice on this?

It's often a wrestle to get subject matter experts to understand they're not experts in making or writing websites. I say they're gold for us, and we're gold for them #webcolab #SMEbuyin #informationarchitecture #cowriting

Clear roles and responsibilities. It doesn't stymie collaboration, it helps it thrive. People who know they are valued and understand their space and place, can and will reach out. Who does what. - write it down!

I reckon someone got it right when setting up NZ's Covid-19 site. Looks like they made an early decision about what belongs on that (advice for public) and what belongs on our Ministry of Health site (everything else). So often it's blurry and confused.

Almost every school parent in NZ is looking up when term starts and what their kid needs. Term start dates and stationery lists should be front and centre of your school website. Not on a PDF document, or behind a sign in, in a 2020 email or just on a piece of paper. #makeiteasy

If it's obvious and meaningful and memorable to the user as soon as they open the label/menu item, then sometimes brevity wins. 2/2

A great day writing guidelines for a tagging taxonomy. My fave bits of advice are Meaningful, Understood out of context, Unique. Yours?
