New musicians/artists please don’t screw yourself by signing a contract with a so called manager without reading it and talking to someone with experience. Just found out someone I used to book shows for signed with someone and now she is taking 66% of any show he does.

This made my blood boil. I didn’t make him sign a contract and only charged a standard 10% booking fee. Some of us actually care about the artists we work with. Beware of these crooks in the industry.
