Unreal Gold and Unreal Tournament can now be downloaded for free, Epic Games just gave the OldUnreal folks permission to host installers for both games on their website. It'll install the games and the OldUnreal patches to make them run on modern systems without hassles.

The VorpalFix mod for American McGee's Alice got a new update that adds new settings that you can change while in-game, such as FPS limit, HUD style, language, controller button style and disable cutscene letterboxing This mod just gets better.

There's a new project attempting to make a source port of Prey 2006, based on the open source release of Doom 3. Currently it's in alpha state and not fully playable. The author is accepting contributors to help on the project, so I'm sharing here so it gets enough attention.
