you’d think framework authors are prone to over engineering normal work since they live in abstraction land

but the reverse happens - they’re way more practical than the avg dev

think it’s because they don’t have unfulfilled desires that get inserted into product work

when you’re a small child you worry about serverless costs

eventually you grow up and worry about inter-az egress costs

when people hear i’ve been using solid they’re curious about the size of its ecosystem

one thing to remember is solid is very minimal so you don’t need to wrap other libraries in it like you do with react

you don’t need solid-d3 or solid-google-maps - can just use them directly

idk if we could have realistically built terminal without cloudflare

exposing an ssh server publicly is tricky - i don’t know of any other service lets you easily proxy tcp connections to protect your server from DDoS
