Newly elected President of Library Association Lorna Dodd presented broadcaster Rick O’Shea Rick O'Shea (no longer here) with the 2025 President’s Medal. A wonderful recipient who has done so much for reading in Ireland!

My favourite programme is back on BBC Radio 4, but I’m disappointed not to hear adele geras on Round Britain Quiz. I’m sure Jenny will be great, but Adele and Stuart Maconie were a great team. Still, if I was in the UK I’d happily pay the licence fee for RBQ and In our Time!
