It’s Sunday. It’s Mother’s Day. But that doesn’t stop Louise working hard 👩🏻‍💻 especially when there is a maths assignment due! 📝 Fitting the rocket tasks around jobs, university & families proves challenging, but Team RIAS is so dedicated that they get it all done 🙌🏼🚀💪🏼

Maddy is in charge of building the rocket’s computer and electronic components, they manage to fit this in between studying and other life tasks 🚀🔋🧑🏼‍💻 It becomes quite challenging when their dog Eddi decides that jumping on the desk is far more fun 🐶😂

Right now, our Milky Way galaxy is in the middle of a dance with our nearest large neighbor galaxy, Andromeda, which will result in their merger in about 4 billion years. The view could be spectacular. #MondayMotivation

We won the Mach-22 rocket competition 🤩🎉🚀 Gutted I couldn’t be there as it was my son’s last week of GCSEs & prom but I’m so proud of Team RIAS we worked so hard for this! 7 months ago we knew nothing about building rockets… proof you can do anything with the right support!

It was an incredible challenge, but the best thing that I've ever been involved in. My incredible team mates (Rachael Mitchell (she/her) Jamie Burton & @ouphysicsox) are now friends for life, we absolutely smashed it! The icing on the cake was that we won our category, Launch Vehicle 1km
