This morning, we witnessed great Youth Participatory Action Research presentations by our Peer Mentors & Junior Leaders. We learned about anti-Black racism in education institutions, the importance of cultural competency & the representation of Black people in media. #2024BSSLP

We visited Black Creek Community Farm where 5 Black Student Summer Leadership Program Junior Leaders gained hands-on experience & skills in urban agriculture. The team is passionate about food & environmental justice. Thank you Black Creek Community Farm for supporting our program. #2024BSSLP
