15 day countdown!

This past week I had to go to the ER on a school night b/c my normally 100 bpm heart rate dropped to 39bpm. After a CT scan & iv cocktail, the Dr. concluded it was just my autoimmune disease having a flare up. 🙄 Still feel yucky. 3.5 days till Christmas break #Countdown 🎄

Yesterday made my heart so happy. 🥰My students LOVED their Christmas presents & many of their mouths fell open in shock when they opened them. Thank u to everyone who helped donate things over the past few months. This holiday season has been fun this year. Half day today! 🎄

Just finished Stranger Things. I’m sad it’s over.

My 3 year old is being potty trained and bribed for good behavior with Tic Tac USA. His favorite are the green 🤣💕 Also loves altoids- says they’re “spicy!”

Tomorrow is the first day back with students. Tbh, I’m a little excited. I’ve missed my kiddos these last 2.5 weeks. 🥰

On Friday, we made edible soil with all of the layers we had learned about: Topsoil (with bugs and humus), Subsoil (with broken rocks), and Bedrock. Today’s not as fun…MAP testing. 🫣 Reading test today, Math tomorrow.

Two students melted down today.🫣 I had a very incompetent doctor at my appt today. Didn’t help me at all. 😡 However, - bright news! I got a new girl today, and she is amazing! Might be one of the best students in the class! Love her! 💕 💃🏻
