I cannot get over the Google search result trend that “tariff” spiked AFTER Election Day. Which can only lead me to believe the country is like National Treasure except in this case voters are using Yahoo instead of Google & they all definitely looked it up before, right?

I can’t believe I was between flying down to Orlando today for the Uni garage sale or trying to get BTTF musical tix via lottery & I chose the latter… only for BTTF not offering lotto tix tomorrow & the Wicked Experience finally opening up at Uni tomorrow.

I’m an elder millennial. Most of the people I work with are Gen Z. I asked people to name their 3 fav Muppets as an ice breaker this summer & everyone younger than me “didn’t really watch Muppets”. (Everyone my age & older had strong Muppet opinions though)

While I was originally bummed my last minute panic trip to Orlando next week has been cancelled, the universe gave me a whole extra year of Dinosaur. The main purpose of the trip was a farewell ride.

My health insurance changed this year & I didn’t realize til now it’s the stupid ass kind that requires a referral for everything outside of your PCP. I have a huge, painful cystic breakout & wanted to grab a walk in slot at my derm but nooooo I need a fucking referral first.

The excitement I get over Peacock adding another superfan season of The Office could only be topped by then doing it to 30 Rock.

When I was in high school we read a few sections of The Odyssey my sophomore year & I loved it so much I read the whole thing on my own then minored in Greek Classics in college because I wanted something complimentary but equally as useless to go with my theatre major.

Watching someone’s mistresses fighting over Twitter is giving Bravo & I’m here for it.

I learned this from the OG Queer Eye first season which at the time didn’t work well because ladies jeans were all super low rise BUT since we went back to natural waist, it’s never failed me.

I’m almost positive the employees at the BJ’s self checkout wait until they see me scan my own soda cases before coming over & offering to do it with the gun. And it’s not a big deal, but I’ve been varying at what point in my checkout I scan them and they always come right after.

Kind of sad, but it’s the last day to renew my WDW AP & I’m gonna let it lapse for 2025. Cutting back Orlando trips this year to save PTO/money for Japan. And will be prioritizing my Orlando time at Epic Universe.

Went to the gym yesterday & ended up on a treadmill directly between two screens that were playing Father of the Bride 2 & Catching Fire, my favorite film from each franchise. Made that hour of hills & sprints fly by.
