Putting serious effort into learning C++ during my studies has been very helpful even though I don't use C++ anymore. Learning *any* language at a deep fundamental level should be the first step to becoming language agnostic.

What are the challenges in predicting bus arrival time which makes the companies miss by 20+ minutes. I realize it's primarily caused by traffic, but how is it not accounted for?

Unless you're struggling with wrist pains, the 'no mouse rule' is not a good rule. This rings true for all domains with a varying degree. I've also seen the analogy between high APM gaming and programming. High APM gaming is much about the coordination between mouse and keyboard

After using Jetbrains for 8 years I have swapped to VS code. I mainly use Python. Takeaways so far: 1. I like the default shortcuts and keybindings for VS code far more. 2. There is a lot of QoL functionality I'm missing, but it may be found through extensions.

ChatGPT evolving into a sycophant will have a negative impact on the world by further reinforcing peoples egos. And the average person will always prefer it over a slightly more challenging model like Claude, likely a subconscious preference.

just did an IT security course through work where the website had an integrated LLM. you could just ask it for the answers to the quiz and it would reply. you could ask it for all future answers. we have gone way too far
