I haven’t processed it at all either. How do you mourn your flesh and blood being brutally killed in a genocide heavily funded by a superpower while the rest of the world watches on livestream? How do you stop yourself from trying to escape? 3/6

400,000 people filled the streets of DC yesterday calling for a ceasefire. International orgs like Doctors w/o Borders introduced a call tool to pressure governments into a ceasefire. South Africa is charging Israel with genocide in the ICJ. And still Israel only has this to say:

There is a reason the false narrative of violence and threat pops up after any action that claims space for protest. They need us to believe that mass mobilization is scary and always ends badly. They need us to believe we need the state to be safe. We don’t, we keep us safe.
