All 3 of our teams came runners up in the BwD Cup at Ewood. The Y7 fought valiantly but lost in normal time, the Y10 team lost on penalties after the game being tied 2 2 at the end of normal time and the Y11s were edged out 2 1 in a tight game. Massively proud of all

Well done to the Y7 girls who have played futsal over the past 5 weeks. 16 games per team and one team remained unbeaten throughout winning the competition whilst the other team made themselves hard to beat with some great battles.

After 72 matches played by 9 teams over 6 weeks PE @SaintWilfrids were tonight crowned Year 7 Girls Futsal Champions with St Bede's RCHS PE finishing as runners up and Darwen Vale PE Department third #letgirlsplay Youth Sport Trust School Games

As always Y11 boys do us proud and reach another cup final. Let's go and finish the 5 years with the double

A very good day for the football teams in the BwD finals today. Y9 won 6 3 after an excellent first half performance. Y10 won on penalties after defending superbly in normal time Y11 finished the day off in style with a 6 0 win 3 finals, 3 wins. Well done to all involved
