Behaviour management is not about the young people, behaviour management is about the adults. A regulated calm adult can regulate a dysregulated,anxious child. But,a dysregulated adult can never regulate a dysregulated child.They need to be met in their nervous system states.🧠🌱

One thing I have learnt in EDFD452 is the importance of explaining the A to E marking scale as a continuum. This aids in clarifying parent understanding of where their child is at I.e they are sitting at a high B, and suddenly an A seems like a very achievable goal. 🤓#acuedu_p

Really puts things into perspective. Teachers are already doing so much for their students by simply caring. And I think I can safely say, this comes naturally to all teachers 🥰
