Our Y10&11 Merit Leaders are having a fantastic time in New York thanks to Taith and international links global 🇺🇸 They have spent the last week in 3 high schools in Long Island experiencing life as a student in the United States. Such an amazing opportunity! #SaintsOnTour #Taith

Thanks to Sharon Walters from nptpass for coming in and giving our Year 8 students the opportunity to try some disability sports. The students had a go at Boccia and Kurling which they absolutely loved!!

It was great to visit some of our partner primary schools prior to the Open Evening last week with our 6th Formers to run music and art workshops. It was lovely to spend time with these pupils and their teachers and were so impressed with their attitude and contributions!

And that’s the St Joseph’s Sixth Form Senior Citizens Christmas Party well and truly back with a bang! We were privileged to welcome nearly 100 guests to the school last week to enjoy an afternoon of food, entertainment and games provided and funded by the Sixth Formers.

We were so grateful for the welcome we received from the staff and students of Archbishop Stepinac High School this week. It was great to hear from senior leaders about leadership within the US education system and the students about their experiences, ambitions and plans for the future. Thank you!

This week A delegation from St. Joseph’s Catholic School & Sixth Form Centre in Port Talbot, Wales, recently visited several high schools within the Archdiocese of New York to explore Catholic education in the United States.

Thank you to Cardinal Spellman HS, Cardinal Hayes High School, Archbishop Stepinac High School and Loyola School for such an outstanding welcome to all the schools for our staff and pupils over the last two weeks! A great opportunity thanks to Taith and Welsh Government Education to visit New York this month. Students and staff had the chance to see how education works in NY Catholic Schools and experience a different culture and place. It was fantastic to speak to schools in NYC about life there!
