In year five the children have been really enjoying their Earth and Space Topic in Science. Some of the work that they have produced has been out of this world!

World Porridge Day 2025- Thank you to all the children and families for celebrating World Porridge Day and supporting 'Mary's Meals' with us at St Joseph's. We raised enough money for Mary's Meals to provide 470 meals to children who have little to eat.

Year3 visited Church this week & took part in a mock Baptism. Some of the children were parents, Godparents & or course distinguished guests. Thank you, Canon Tim, for conducting the Baptism of the doll, Lizzie, explaining in just the right detail to support year three's RE.

In year four's Art lesson, the children finished their canopic jars. They painted them beautifully & started by using primary colour paints similar to those which the Ancient Egyptians themselves might have used.

Year four had a great time this week in their DT lesson discussing their favourite chocolate treats and talking about what they liked about those treats. They then enjoyed tasting chocolate with different flavour pairings.🍫🍫🍫🍫
