Grateful to speak in the debate in Parliament on hospices. I paid tribute to St Gemma's Hospice in Leeds, its staff and people in our community for their fundraising generosity. But the government must increase NHS funding, which covers less than 30% of St. Gemma’s total needs.

We are sad to announce that Sister Anne Hammersley died peacefully at the Hospice on Friday 26 July 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. Sr Anne was an integral part of the Hospice for many years. She will be dearly missed 💜
