A very early start this morning but it was worth it eventually!! The Northern Waterthrush showed in the dark at 7.20am then disappeared until 11.40am when it reappeared and performed really well. 4hrs of freezing cold between sighting. Had to have a look for the reported Common Crane, well I found it but it was very distant on RSPB Worth Marshes.. Nice year ✅ SBBOT KOS Kent Wildlife Trust Kent Field Club ACEW
Took a trip out to Worth Marsh RSPB with Rob Rackliffe looking for and finding 2 X Red-footed Falcon (phone scope image attached) 2 x Hobby and 1 x White-tailed Eagle, a county tick. With a total of 68 species it was a very successful morning.
