Making it a no-fly zone all around the outfield for CDS, CF Julian Earle is our next First Team selection. Earle hit .436 for his senior year, with 21 RBI, 18 runs and five doubles. The senior helped the Patriots to a district runner-up finish and reach the region semis.

For the second-straight season, CDS' Nicholas Riedel is an All-813Preps First Teamer. The Newberry College Baseball signee was 6-4 this season, finishing with 87 K's (third among Hillsborough's 1A-5A pitchers). Riedel had three shutouts, six complete games & four double-digit K games.

An absolute terror on the bases, CDS senior Steven Vargo led 1A-5A county players with 23 stolen bases. Vargo batted .370, with 30 runs, 11 RBI and four doubles for the district runner-up and region semifinalist Patriots. He is signed for football & baseball at Bowdoin College.
