Today I had the pleasure to see 🇷🇴RO movie Collective be awarded the LUX Audience Award prize by the European Parliament. I totally recommend watching it. I did and I cried a lot and I'm not the only one. It's a true story showing how corruption can kill innocent people attending a concert
Meeting Dacian Cioloş and Alin Mituța to discuss the effects of the war in Ukraine 🇺🇦 on the agricultural sector (including production capacity in fertilisers, food assistance, fuel supply) and how the Commission is responding to these.
In less than one year, the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) has been working on 515 investigations for an estimated damage of €5.4 bn of EU taxpayers money. Good to hear the EU chief prosecutor Laura Kovesi present its activity in European Parliament today. We must support EPPO to continue its work.

The European Parliament spoke loud and clear today, with 529 votes in favour of granting EU candidate status to Moldova🇲🇩 and Ukraine🇺🇦. The ball is now in Member States' court and I hope today's #EUCO will take the right decision.
Today I tabled 75 amendments to the European Digital Identity Framework (#eID) file, for which I am the Renew Europe shadow rapporteur. I am proposing several changes that will make it safer and easier for EU citizens to access public & private services, along these lines ⬇️
Thousands of women died in communist Romania following an #abortion ban in 1967. Thousands of unwanted kids were born & thrown in orphanages. For us in Renew Europe this must NEVER repeat. That's why the right to abortion MUST be included in the EU Charter of #FundamentalRights.

547 of us said YES to Romania and Bulgaria joining the #Schengen area, in the European Parliament today. The message is loud and clear: RO🇷🇴 and BG🇧🇬 citizens deserve free movement in the EU. Time for the Council to show the same level of support!
Happy to see such a vast support for the School Scheme Imp. report, adopted today in AGRI Committee Press & for which I was the Renew Europe shadow rapporteur. Children & farmers alike will benefit from a scheme with a higher budget and which prioritises quality local products.
