It's #4thOfJuly and Here's Johnny? British academic Alasdair Spark and New York Times journalist Alec Toler have identified the original photo from the end of The Shining! Following identification by facial recognition software of the unknown man in the photo as Santos Casani,

Kubrick had seen and admired all of Shelley Duvall's previous films, including Nashville and Three Women, and thought her to be perfect for the role of Wendy in #TheShining, due to her "eccentric quality."
