This lesson from the USA should be learnt in the UK. Get these monopolies out of the NHS, no private shareholder ownership of clusters of GPs, get Palantir out of our NHS data contracts, and stop imagining it will be any different than disastrous privatisation of water.

So many people commenting that GPs should suck it up & stop whinging about 20% cuts in NHS funding £169pa / person is all that’s paying for a year’s worth of GP practice access More GPs are being recruited to work privately I believe in access for all not the healthy & wealthy

How is this even possible? We have a desperate shortage of GPs, patients are waiting weeks for a GP appointment yet fully qualified GPs can’t get work. Surely this needs fixing urgently Wes Streeting gponline.com/huge-rise-gp-c…

As we watch Keir Starmer and his team expand NHS privatisation, please remember that he was elected to become Labour leader saying specifically that he would remove NHS private outsourcing. He then quietly dropped this pledge in Summer 2022. This isn’t OK 🚨

Not finding roles for newly-qualified GPs wastes taxpayer investment in their training and risks losing doctors to the private sector or abroad. It is also a missed opportunity to improve access to NHS primary care services, ease hospital pressures and improve population health.

New Royal College of General Practitioners data shows 4,200 GPs finished their training last week. But many are struggling to find work. That’s why we’re calling on the Government to urgently provide ring-fenced funding to fix the GP unemployment crisis. bma.org.uk/our-campaigns/… #endGPunemployment

"Thames Water could be sold to a Chinese firm after public rescue." So we are possibly about to sell Thames Water 💧 to CKI more often known as CK Infrastructure. Would that by any chance be the same CKI that is owned by CK Hutchison Holdings who in turn own about 70% of the Kelda

🚨 Public hospitals are being gutted while privately owned/run 'community diagnostic centres' fill the manufactured gaps. Costs UP, profits UP, existing services destabilised. Stealth privatisation dressed up as convenient & necessary. Problem, Reaction, Solution!
