You've got to hand it to Marcel Kittel and Peter kennaugh for speaking up about their mental health issues and making tough choice to step away from the sport. Great example for anyone suffering from issues themselves. Chapeau chaps. Wish you all the happiness the future holds.

One of the absolute cycling heroes here in the north-west Bob Pugh is riding up and down the dreaded Shaley Brow next Tuesday to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK. If one man can do it, it's him. Legend. justgiving.com/fundraising/bo…

Tomorrow one of the gods of cycling in the north west is celebrating his 60th birthday by climbing the toughest hill around a total of 60 times. He has smashed his total by 1,456 per cent to hit a whopping £3,640. Well done (Sir?) Big Bob. justgiving.com/fundraising/bo…
