Crazy how many performance “enhancements” are being pushed to 5.0.1. Shipping 5.0 at its current state is a huge breaking change when you can’t even type in a post... something something democratizing publishing.

If you’re on 5.0 and find the editor unusably slow I suggest reactivating Gutenberg 4.7 because the performance improvements are amazing. If only the release schedule wasn’t based around #wcus the current 3 million 5.0 downloads would have a usable editor.
