I voted for her. I think he’s a bad guy. But if you lose the senate, house, electoral college AND popular vote, and you think the lesson is half the country is racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, and stupid… wrong lesson. And the same thing will likely happen in 2028.

I am profoundly sad today. I remember my excitement at turning 18 right before the first election I voted in and the belief that engaging in the system mattered. Then I watched a genocide from my phone and the same people who said my vote mattered told me that a genocide didn’t.

Watching the mainstream networks cover the election you would not know a genocide and multiple wars are going on. Yes, the economy is the top issue. But how much worse is it when people struggling to get by see billions and billions of tax dollars spent on slaughtering children.
