Pretty sure this will be in my top 10 #FavePicturebooks24 (we’re only in April)
“Two Together” by Brendan Wenzel is a truly joyous book about, perspectives, adventures and love. The art is simply stunning with clever use of materials adding to the story-telling #PicturebookPage
If anybody knows some fantastic #WordlessWonders picturebooks suitable for a yoinger child, please share.
Laugh out loud hilarious as well as deeply moving- this is a very special text. 🥲Thanks Simon Smith for recc.
Somehow intimate, captures relationships authentically and sings off the page Simon James Green 👏👏
Loving the range of amazing books being used to support our children’s learning.
So much broader and wider #MoreIsMore
Fantastic bit of bookpost from Walker Books today…yes I am already reading the new Kate DiCamillo.
Really looking forward to diving into these.
“Terrible Horses” by 🦻🏽Raymond Antrobus and Ken Wilson-Max is a fantastic book about a sibling relationship. It wonderfully captures the push and pulls of the relationship and developing empathy for the other person. Brilliantly told in word and art. #PicturebookPage

“Don’t Trust Cats” by Dev Petty and Mike Boldt is just brilliant fun. Chip, our canine narrator, is a joy to listen to and the dogs world view is fantastic. Boldt’s illustration are zany and full of humour. Fab to share with a class #PicturebookPage
Last saw most of these good people 30 years ago on our PGCE, 5 are still working in schools which can’t be a bad ratio.

Whatever your thoughts on using #Shakespeare in the primary classroom, this a wonderful resource. It is beautifully illustrated by #EmilySutton , with brilliantly abridged texts that for all 36 plays. A fantastic and rich resource for primary schools Shakespeare B Trust
What a powerful book this is.
“The Rock in my Throat” by Kao Kalia Yang and Jiemei Lin gives us real insight into a young immigrant’s experience. Based on Kalia’s own story it sings with truth. Text and art combine to create a poignant and important book. #PicturebookPage
