A misty morning at Oppstrynvatnet. The lake sits at 29m above sea level and the mountains behind rise up to over 1400m! The photo catches the dramatic and ever changing mist but it's difficult to comprehend the scale and sheer size of the mountains unless you're there in person.

I saw my first ever fog bow last week. In normal conditions, Lepsøybrua (an impressive bridge, more on that later) would be visible behind Lepsøyrevet fyr (the lighthouse) but the fog was lingering on the Atlantic for the majority of the day.

Lepsøybrua is a relatively new bridge, opening at the end of 2021. It rises to 41m above the sea and the longest span is 155m, with a total length of 800m. As you can see, I picked the perfect day to photograph it as the fog danced around the piers.

Rohallion Loch as the sun went down on Saturday. I often come here for photos but I hadn't been to this part of the loch before. As first impressions go, I'll definitely be back.
