On the 2nd Day of December it was lovely to attend Harborne’s Cadet Presentation to celebrate the achievements of the young people. Certificates presented for 10 hour First Aid and some lovely HEART award trophies. Thank-you to the amazing team at Harborne. ❄️💚⛄️💚

Day 3 of December and an evening of celebrating the achievements of the Badgers and Cadets at Acocks Green along with volunteers from the Solihull Network. We were very lucky to be joined by the CEO Shona Dunn St John Ambulance England 🎄 💚🎄💚

Day 4 of December and delighted to join our current High Sheriff Cadets for a Carol Service in Sutton Coldfield this evening hosted by the High Sheriff for the West Midlands Douglas Wright MBE. 🎄❄️⛄️

Just 2 days until our SJA West Midlands District District Carol Service at the wonderful St. Paul's Church - JQ. Day 8 Thank-you to everyone who attended the carol service this afternoon at St Paul’s. We also said farewell to Paul Bytheway who has been our Priory Chair for the West Midlands since 2020. Thank-you for everything and good luck in the East Midlands. ❄️🎄

Day 9 of December And a lovely night spent at Kings Norton Unit for an awards night. Badges and certificates given out to the badgers and cadets. DM commendations presented to Ciaran Turnbull for exceptional patient care and Sam Farren for her dedication to the unit. 💚

Day 10 of December An opportunity to say thank-you to Diana Crabtree our WM County President. Diana is always there to support the whole District in a whole host of ways, never shying away from having those difficult conversations and making sure everyone is held to account.

Day 11 of December Tonight was Walsall’s Network Awards Night and was great to see how this Network is flourishing. Lots of awards presented to the badgers and cadets as well as the adult volunteers. Special mention to Amy who was presented with her Service Medal of the Order.

Day 13 of December! Today we are celebrating our amazing Logistics team! Always the first to arrive and the last to leave, thank-you Samantha Blaze and the district logistics team plus all the Unit Logistics Leads and Network Operation Support Leads for all you do to support us.

Day 14 of December Today we are celebrating our amazing young people within the West Midlands District. Thank-you to every Badger and Cadet for everything you do. 🎄❄️⛄️🎄❄️⛄️

Day 14 Today we say a massive thank you to those who empower our young people within the district. Special thanks to James Harper and his team of district youth officers, all our Badger and Cadet Leads, Network Youth Services Lead and all our youth leaders and helpers. ❄️

Day 15 of December Thank-you to everyone who helps to train our volunteers. Let’s show our appreciation for Dakota and her team, Unit Training Leads, Network Training Delivery Leads plus all our fabulous Trainers, Demonstrators and Assessors for all your hard work through 2024

Day 16 (sorry a day late) Last night I attended Dudley’s award night which was incredible. So many badgers, cadets and adults who were presented with awards. Congratulations to Hannah Foulkes and the team at Dudley for a truly fabulous year ⛄️❄️🎄

Day 17 of December It’s time to say thank you to NinaLou Marriott who is in charge of our heritage that we hold in the district. Nina we thank you and your team for everything you do to support this amazing function and ensure that history is documented for years to come. ❄️🎄

Day 18 We say thank you to all our Health Care Professionals who volunteer and support the work within the district. Special thanks to Leigh Jones-Keyte and his team and all the Unit Clinical Leads for everything you do. ⛄️❄️🎄

Day 19 is a day to say thank you to our amazing Area Managers Jake Wilshaw Nathan Hubble Adam Hipkiss. The support you have provided to Units and lately Networks has been nothing short of amazing. Massive thanks for everything you have done. ⛄️❄️🎄

Day 20 & 21 A time to thank our Regional and District Leads and Officers for everything they do to support West Midlands District. Thank-you for all your support during 2024. ⛄️❄️🎄

Day 22 is the day to say a massive thank you to James Harper, our Deputy District Manager. It’s been a particularly difficult year but James has helped lead the district in many key activities including the launch of St John Networks. James we think you are amazing! ⛄️🎄❄️
