"Well, it takes a lot to scare me off." Max said, before leaning back in his chair.

"Then most people are losers. A lot of people don't understand the unusual or peculiar things." Should he share his secret about being a shapeshifter? Probably not.

"Noticed that when I first got here." Max was actually passing through town. He doesn't stay long in one place. "Isn't different? What do you mean?"

"The outside world is a whole lot more dangerous than you may think." He should know because he's been out there longer than Wednesday has. Not exactly a fun place to be in. "Well, curiosity has never killed anyone." Shoulder shrug.

"So I interest you? How exactly?" Max tilted his head slightly as he asked the question. It was rare that someone would take interest in him. "It might be a possibility."

"Oh? What tipped you off?" He would cross his arms over his chest. Max wasn't exactly subtle at times.

Just casually steals something.

"In that case.. I'm a shapeshifter." He shrugged his shoulders like it wasn't a big deal.

"We're all interesting in our own ways." A rare and faint smile formed on his lips. "It's not that cool."
