v0 / Lovable aren’t replacing programmers, they’re replacing Figma files and Framer mockups. They are prototyping tools.

Apple should not be designing any critical HMIs. It's not the filled area, but the orientation/angle of the needle that matters for cognition—hypercolumns in V1 (rough) and vernier hyperacuity (fine). This is how gauges work, the length + contrast of the needle is important.

i do think the future of work is like starcraft or age of empires. you have 200 microagents you’re directing to fix problems, gather information, reach out to people, design new systems, etc.

$6.5 billion for a concentration of design talent and pure ideas. Design as philosophy. Vision as product. Chasing the ghost of Steve Jobs.

underrated technique: vibe code a full-custom debug view for code you're writing by hand! in this case, visualizing a parsing algorithm 😎 a clear interactive visualization helps you really grok what's going on step by step, and of course helps with fixing bugs too

This is a great example. I am telling you, listen to me—it's the needle that matters, not the arc, for fast cognition in gauges. This is not disputable. So much noise was made in the comments in that quoted thread. I know it is correct.

We have two identical groups of 8 gauges with anomalous gauge at position (3,1). The degree of anomaly is identical in both groups ~ 8 deg. Humans have extreme hyperacuity with respect to detecting angular orientation of line segments—needle gauge is so much faster to read. The

Street vendors contribute significant % to India's GDP, so their exclusion from city planning is policy violence. The state meticulously plans land use zones for business parks and IT corridors with transport zones so you, the urban educated folks , can chase your careers. But
