Uttarakhand has been devastated economically by COVID-19 thanks to tourism going dead. As you all know tourism is not expected to restart for a long, long time, definitely not this summer.

We have come up with a plan to help deliver some immediate money to those who have been rendered unemployed due to loss of tourism income. Almost everyone in the Tons Valley has apple trees. We are identifying those working in the tourism industry who are also apple farmers...

Jugaad Sunday lunch cos yesterday’s rain-storm had many kairis dropping off the Mango Tree. This is a sweet, sour, spicy and very yum Aam’er patla jhol. Paid with piping hot steamed rice, a little ghee, some plain Masoordal or a potato fry. (Ingredients & Method in Pics 2 & 3).

OSINT has played a major role in the conversation around all major recent military events in India — the surgical strikes, the air raid on Balakot, and now the crisis on the Line of Actual Control with the People’s Republic of China.

It might not be accurate or authenticated by the government, but it does give the lay person some data... But is the press a lay person? The question here is: Should it apply higher standards of vetting and judgement when further disseminating any OSINT?
