Fire is under control, call came in at 10:49pm from multiple 911 calls in west end. Great job by CPR train crew to disconnect locomotives. Excellent job by fire crews to contain fire was a very efficient knockdown of a large fire. #ldnont ^cs

Rosenbauer Group Damage estimate $25,000 to rail cars and $10,000 to the Drewlo Holding Building. Thanks to London Police Service ON City of London Employees and London Hydro and the quick work of CPKC Engineer & Conductor to limit damage. Thanks to multiple 911 callers that advised our Communication Operations of an eastbound train on fire going over Oxford St. We were able to get on scene & contain the fire in the downtown area very quickly with limited damage and no injuries. Great job by Fire COMMs. #ldnont ^cs

Congratulations to Dutton Dunwich Fire Department on their new Midwest Fire Tanker 74. Fortunate to have been able to have been a part of the final inspection & trip home. After the firefighters have been trained on this new apparatus, it will begin it’s many years of service in Dutton Dunwich.

At 0745 this morning, Captain Bob Hunter retired after 31 years of dedicated service to the London Fire Department. The LPFFA with the LFD have started a new tradition honouring our retiring members with a walk-out ceremony. Congratulations Bob, and all the best in retirement!
