Within his eyes I see a millennial of tomorrow’s embracing the promises he’s vowed to uphold. I see his face and words escape how I feel about walking hand and hand into an unknown future with him. I am beyond grateful to be alive and grateful for his presence in my life.

Have you ever noticed that the time in hospitals is divided by quadrants: "Before breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as after breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and evening snacks?" Strange, isn't it?

Some have wondered and asked so this is how it is going. I will be hospitalized for another three weeks or so, then go home with the help of a visiting nursing staff. I have another surgery scheduled in six weeks if not before. No one can explain to me why my body is underseige.

Most days I share my heart and spirit about the awe-inspiring and beautiful sides of life, people, and the world at large. There are at times, however, when life and people, especially people you love, deem to give you a psychological nuggie! Hang in there my loves! 🌺

UPDATE: I was moved to another hospital yesterday to a room that resembles a small studio apartment. I will be having yet another surgical procedure at 1:00 PM PST. Please keep me in prayer. I know it sounds fanciful that some people can withstand so much pain. God is good.

CANCER UPDATE: I will start chemotherapy next week. It has been a very long, painful, and difficult journey. I am not so vain and presumptuous as to hail myself as sexy. Even so, my Oncologist said to reach for the stars! 💫

I would like to thank all those who through the months have faithfully & wonderfully supported and encouraged me during my illness even though I did not go to your pages and exclaim over your works! YOU are ALL wonderful and LOVING people and that is all that needs to be known!

I’m looking for decent chemo scarfs, caps, scarves, hats, and etc. For woman who are going through the process of chemotherapy or radiation. There is not much out there in the world to help us feel comfortable and attractive. Am asking my beautiful friends to try creating some?

If you were anywhere near my hospital, you may have heard some screaming. The oncologist told me that I was too weak to handle chemotherapy and wanted to send me home without further treatment. Grrrrr! A few hours later, he called with a different outlook! Be your own advocate!

Health Update: Am still in the hospital, the oncologist wants to administer chemo while I am still under careful medical observation. I start chemotherapy this week. :(
