We are so lucky to have spent the weekend with the incredible crew from AstroAccess to co-develop an astronaut training program for everybody 👏 Meet the AstroAccess ambassadors:
The second day of the Space+5 commercial astronaut training with AstroAccess and Bina48 at the University of Arizona pool included spacecraft egress and FULL conversations underwater in #ASL between Sheila Xu | Deaf Pilot | Aspiring Astronaut and Eric Shear 👏
We were so excited to partner with Uplift Aerospace and spaceplusnft in preparation for our flight in Houston next month! Ambassadors Eric Shear and Sheila Xu | Deaf Pilot | Aspiring Astronaut successfully completed an ASL experiment that is an extension of the research we did on Aurelia Institute Horizon!
I’m so excited to see the incredible AstroAccess crew here in Houston this week!
Thank you to the team at AstroAccess and Zero-G for inviting us onto the weightless flight of a lifetime. We experienced zero gravity with researchers with disabilities, proving that space is for everyone. 🚀 Good Morning America
