Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Golf team coming in 1st place at Hidden Creek tournament. Everson McConnell finished 1st and Seth Hinkley finished 2nd individually.

Boys team earns trophy for 2nd straight tournament this spring! Finished 2nd in the Squaw Creek tournament led by Everson McConnell and Tanner Carter who tied for for 4th.

Great season for the boys. They competed very well in the district tournament on Mon and Tue. Girls are playing round 2 at Westridge tomorrow. Sitting in 3rd place after today’s first round.

SISD Grades 7-9 golf camp, Aug 2-6 from 8-10 at Stonecreek golf course. No cost. Bring clubs if you have them.

Boys golf team finished 3rd at Waterview Golf Club Classic. Everson McConnell finished 4th overall.

SHS boys won 1st place in the Stinger Classic at Tanglewood GC. Everson McConnell won 1st individual and Paxton Samuelson got 3rd. Great team effort!

Boys and girls both finished 1st place in the Bearcat Invitational Stone Creek Golf Club. Boys shot 321,beating district competition, Love Joy, McKinney North, and Denison. We also beat Plano Senior High, and Plano East. Girls played hard too. #wewillwin

Bearcat Invitational- 2nd place Boys w/ 3 boys finishing in Top 10 led by Paxton Samuelson-79, Tanner Carter-80, and Cooper Morgan-82. Girls led by freshman Charlize Yang who finished 6th with a 89.

Another 2nd place finish today for the Boys at Buffalo Creek! Great team effort. Cooper Morgan finished 5th- 80 for the boys, and Charlize Yang also placed 5th for girls.

Sherman Varsity Boys got First Place at Stinger Classic at Tanglewood! Paxton Samuelson finished 1st w/ a 75 and Braden Kyzar got 3rd w/ a 79 overall! Girls got 2nd overall!

Great job to our JV teams at their first tournament of the season at Turtle Hill in Muenster. Lots of firsts and a lot of positive things to build on!

JV Boys and Girls played a tournament at Prairie Lakes yesterday. Boys finished 2nd place and Stephen Marcilionis finished 2nd overall with 86. Great improvement in scores for all of the kids. Future is looking good!

Girls Varsity Golf had several personal bests yesterday at Oak Hollow. Marley Dunlap shot a personal best 90, Charlize Yang shot her personal best 77, Rachel Hammett had her best of 113, and Piper Morgan had her first par in her first tournament with a 116!

Pre district golf tournament was cold and windy, but it didn’t stop Charlize Yang who finished 1st place overall with an 81!

Charlize is going to sudden death playoff to determine if she goes to regional tournament in 10 min!

Great season for SHS girls golf team! 9th grader Charlize Yang will be alternate for regional tournament and was named first team all district!
