Today all charges are dismissed for eight activists facing felony charges related to a Cop City protest in 2022. The state knows there was never a legitimate case to begin with. These charges were simply used to terrorize the public out of opposing the police's political agenda.

I HATE this election cycle and the way that the news makes me feel... But I LOVE the joy and hope that #coopmonth spreads with alternatives to "business as usual"

The work that we need to do goes beyond election cycles. It’s narrative, it’s culture, and in my opinion, it’s spiritual. California decided last night to not raise minimum wage but to put more punishment on retail theft and deny rent control while “voting blue.”

Many of us prepared for this moment. No amount of practice prepares you for terror though. At home, we've been talking about fear. Today - we started talking about how we use that fear and how we wield power. We need each other. The fight continues

Kaba's words "Hope is a discipline" ring in my ears. Some of us were ready. Some of us were surprised. Whenever we are - we are going to need each other. We are what we practice.
