How the government spends our collective resources matters. Child care providers represent some of the most undervalued essential workers. Yet we're failing them every day while sending resources abroad to inflict irrefutable harm. These are choices and we can choose differently.

Last night’s use of #SayHerName by Marjorie Taylor Greene during the SOTU Address reflects a deeply offensive trend in right-wing politics – the intentionally misleading appropriation of justice-seeking demands from those who have historically been rendered voiceless.

The Mayor's budget essentially eliminates the Pay Equity Fund for a mostly Black and brown woman workforce caring for young children, burning it/the progress we've made to the ground. So damn shameful.
