As the country heads into lockdown, & you stay home to keep your whanau & nation safe; Nurses and Midwives are on the frontline AND just withdrew strike action to support NZ covid response. Repay them by supporting safe staffing. Read the concerns from the unions. Ask for better

Locations of interest. I know you've all seen this, but it keeps getting longer and bigger and more and more peopled. Especially those of us in, or recently in, Auckland and Coromandel, here we go: health.govt.nz/our-work/disea…

That little wobble was the last thing I needed today. Am so fragile from lack of sleep and she has likely had far less with far far far more to be dealing with

I can’t be the only one who reads this as Pooping Kids EVERY SINGLE TIME I’m scrolling through the locations of interest list right? #CovidNZ #Lockdown #Locations

When there is worrying late night Sunday news but you can concentrate on this very important decision making instead…. #NZSureToRise

Well… there goes our nice clear alert level guidance. Way too much information and unlikely many will stick to the rules. Already everybody is celebrating 10 people bubbles and missing the point that it’s only if between two households (and outside). 🤦‍♀️ #COVID19nz

Hey! 91% of eligible NZers have now had their first shot. That’s more people than watch the All Blacks (the most “kiwi” thing you can do!). Thus making it one of the least divisive issues in Aotearoa history. It’s easy to get confused and distracted with all the yelling.

Had a ticket to see Idlewild in Manchester tonight. Then a global pandemic happened so travel from New Zealand a bit hard. A newborn baby also happened. Living vicariously through terrible video & sound bites from Dark Times Apothecary. Love you Idlewild ❤️ Love you Di!

Can we *not* call it ‘Freedom Day’ New Zealand media?! Freedom was never taken away. We were just doing what almost every country in the world has had to do to protect its people during a global pandemic. Words matter.

One in four NZ women has an abortion in our lifetimes. Describing a quarter of us, an eighth of all of us, as murderers can not just sit there can it? In so many ways I am very disturbed by this and the utter disregard it shows for both experiences - abortion and actual murder.
