Hey! 91% of eligible NZers have now had their first shot. That’s more people than watch the All Blacks (the most “kiwi” thing you can do!). Thus making it one of the least divisive issues in Aotearoa history. It’s easy to get confused and distracted with all the yelling.

Can we *not* call it ‘Freedom Day’ New Zealand media?! Freedom was never taken away. We were just doing what almost every country in the world has had to do to protect its people during a global pandemic. Words matter.

One in four NZ women has an abortion in our lifetimes. Describing a quarter of us, an eighth of all of us, as murderers can not just sit there can it? In so many ways I am very disturbed by this and the utter disregard it shows for both experiences - abortion and actual murder.
