Today is a very sad day in Exeter Custody Devon & Cornwall Police as we pay last respects to Mike Feighan. Mike was an NHS therepist in Exeter Custody supporting detainees be it mental health, addiction, housing etc. Always a smile and time for everyone. Died doing what he loved. RIP

Breaking news! A man has escaped from Exeter Custody! And that man is me 😃 Proper promotion has finally come my way and I have now moved down to South Devon as a patrol inspector covering amazing places like Torbay, Dartmouth, Salcombe and South Dartmoor. Exciting times!!

Its been a long set of 6 shifts with a lot of high risk missing people, a police protection powers little baby in the station,a dwelling burglar caught, a grenade, lots of mental health, a serious assault, a fatal RTC + lots of domestics but we survived and great work all round!

Today we said a massive thanks and good luck to Dawn on her retirment. Starting as a custody matron in 1989, she eventually joined the first female detention officer intake in the force having initially being refused for being female! Good luck and happy travels!! Exeter Custody

What's C team South Devon been up to this set? Support for high risk missing person (found life saved) on Isles of Scily,caught young girl trying to go under a train,alot of mental health and a nice little drug dealer job.Our dog also found a person with knives having a MH crisis

Wow! Just saw amazing team work by British Transport Police, South Western Ambulance Service HART, Devon Air Ambulance, Network Rail. Chap hit by a travelling 125 train. Difficult extract but just a broken leg and hypothermia. Unbelievable!!
