Today at 0018 we responded to a working fire on Ammon. One victim was rescued and transported to the hospital with smoke inhalation. One police officer suffered cuts to their arms. He was treated and released.

Jamie Moroney a 16 year career South Euclid Firefighter/Paramedic was sworn in as a Lieutenant today. He is a Fire Instructor at the Tri- C Fire Academy and the Lead Advisor for Fire Explorers Post 1349. Jamie will take over as the departments EMS and Technology Officer.
at 1:17pm today C Shift worked at a well involved truck fire on South Belvoir Blvd. south of Mayfield Rd. No one was injured and the fire was quickly brought under control.
Today Chief Csire and Firemedic Ben Ovelgonne met with the parishioners from Sacred Heart of Jesus. They reviewed heath and safety prevention in the home and revealed the FD’s Community Risk Reduction program.
Yesterday we celebrated the 100 year anniversary of the South Euclid Fire Department. We unveiled our mural on the north side of the building. We would like to thank Garrett Weider for all his hard work in creating this 100 year anniversary mural.
